# Find Merged Term Tree

API — one term tree across a taxonomy and its child taxonomies, for apps.

The data-plane version of [Get Database Merged Term Tree](/codemash/sdks/database/taxonomies/get-database-merged-term-tree.md), for your app: the requested taxonomy's terms are the roots and the terms of its child taxonomies nest under them — e.g. `Regions` → `Countries` → `Cities` in one answer, ready for a menu or a filter. `GET /{version}/database/taxonomies/{taxonomyName}/merged-tree`

This method is on the runtime **API** surface (`norbix.api.database`) — call it from your app.
