# Chrome Plugin Push

Connect Chrome Plugin Push (web push to your Chrome extension) — the form exists, but a real extension id is refused, so it cannot be used yet.

Chrome Plugin Push is meant to deliver notifications to a Chrome extension you publish, with VAPID keys and the extension id.

Cloud has no working screen for this yet. The form opens, but **Save** refuses a real Chrome extension id (32 letters, such as `aapocclcgogkmnckokdopfmhonfmgoek`) with *Property ExtensionId is required* (`CM-ERRORS-PROPERTY-001`) — the server expects a different id format. Norbix also cannot send through Chrome Plugin Push (*not supported*). Use [Fake Push (Test Me)](/codemash/cloud/push/integrations/providers/fake.md) to try your flows; the question is open in the docs program.

## Get your credentials

1. **Chrome Extension Id** — open `chrome://extensions`, turn on **Developer mode**: the **ID** is under your extension's name; for a published extension it is also in its Chrome Web Store address.
2. **VAPID keys** — make a key pair once, for example `npx web-push generate-vapid-keys`.
3. **VAPID Subject** — a contact as `mailto:push@your-company.com`.

## Connect it in Cloud

**Where:** Push → Integrations → **Add New Integration** → Chrome Plugin Push → **Connect** · `/projects/<project>/push/integrations/new/chrome-plugin`

## Test and set as default

The integration cannot be saved with a real extension id, so there is nothing to test or set as default yet. See [Test an integration](/codemash/cloud/push/integrations/test.md) for the flow of the other providers.

## Common errors
