# Projects

Your account home — every project of the account, and the button to create a new one.

**Where:** menu bar → **Projects** · `/`

A **project** is one backend: its modules, data, users and messages all live inside it ([Projects and environments](/codemash/cloud/concepts/projects-and-environments.md)). **Projects** is the first screen after sign-in. It shows one card per project of the account, after the **Create a new PROJECT** card.

## Columns, search and filters

Each card shows:

| Part   | What it shows                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          |
| ------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Name   | The project name, for example `Acme Store`.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            |
| Badge | One green badge per region of an active project (for example `nb-eu-germany`). Instead: **PROVISIONING** — the managed database is still being set up (the list refreshes itself every 30 seconds until it is ready); **SETUP FAILED** — the database setup did not finish; **NO DATABASE** — the project has no database yet; **DISABLED** — the project is switched off ([Termination](/codemash/cloud/project/settings/termination.md)). A self-hosted project has no region badge. |
| Footer | **modules** and **team members** counters. |

The **Create a new PROJECT** card shows a counter on the managed service, for example `[3/25]`: active projects / projects your subscription allows. On a self-hosted installation the cap comes from the licence.

There is no search or filter: every project is on one screen. Press a card to open the project ([Project](/codemash/cloud/project.md)).

{% hint style="warning" %}
The **modules** and **team members** counters always show 0 today, even when modules are on. Open the project to see its modules.
{% endhint %}
