# Test an integration

Membership integrations have no test — a sign-in provider is checked by signing in.

**Where:** Membership → Integrations → click an integration → **Actions** · `/projects/<project>/membership/integrations/edit/<integrationId>`

Cloud has no **Test** for membership integrations, and the API has no test endpoint for them either: the **Actions** menu offers only **Disable**, the documentation links and **Delete**, and the page has no test panel or **TESTED** badge. A sign-in provider can only be checked by signing in with it, and no sign-in endpoint uses these integrations yet (see [Integrations](/codemash/cloud/membership/integrations.md)).

## Before you start

## Steps

1. Open the integration and press **Actions**. There is no **Test** item.

2. Check the values you saved against the provider's console instead: the client id and, for Microsoft and Okta, the tenant id or domain. Read them back with the API (secrets are never returned).

## Result

Nothing is sent to the provider. A wrong client id or secret shows only when a user signs in.

## Change or remove it later

* **Change the values** — open the provider page, for example [Google Sign In](/codemash/cloud/membership/integrations/providers/google-sign-in.md), and save again.
* **Disable or delete** — [Disable or delete an integration](/codemash/cloud/membership/integrations/disable.md).
