# Providers

The databases you can connect as Database integrations.

**Where:** Database → Integrations → **Add New Integration** · `/projects/<project>/db/integrations/pick`

The provider picker is titled *Select "Database" Integration*. It lists the databases a project can store its collections in — today one card, **MongoDB**, with two ways to connect.

## Columns, search and filters

| Card                                                         | What it is                                                                                                                                                                  |
| ------------------------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| MongoDB — *Connection string or Atlas Flex (Norbix-managed)* | A general purpose, document-based database. Bring your own connection string, or let Norbix provision and manage an Atlas Flex cluster for you. **Connect** opens the form. |

The picker has no search or filters. Adding an integration needs `database:create` on `database:integration:all`.

## What you can do here

* [MongoDB](/codemash/cloud/integrations/providers/mongodb.md) — **Connect**: your own connection string, or a managed Atlas Flex cluster.
* Back to [Integrations](/codemash/cloud/integrations.md) — test, set as default, disable or delete the integrations you have.

The cluster tiers a managed Flex integration can use come from the Hub:

```ts
const tiers = await norbix.hub.database.getAllowedFlexTiers();
console.log(tiers);
// { tiers: [ { code: 'FLEX', step: 0, displayName: 'Flex — from $0.011/hour, up to $30/month' },
//            { code: 'M10', step: 1, displayName: 'M10 — $0.09/hour dedicated (2GB RAM, 10GB, 2 vCPUs)' } ], … }
```

```sh
norbix hub database allowed flex tiers get
```
