# Test an integration

Test a Code provider integration — the test runs, but every provider answers that it is not wired up yet.

**Where:** Code → Integrations → an integration → **Test integration** · `/projects/<project>/code/integrations/<integrationId>/edit`

The test cannot pass yet. Norbix has no client for AWS Lambda, Azure Functions or Google Cloud Functions; every test answers *Provider '…' is not wired up yet* and the integration gets the **TEST FAILED** badge. The test does not reach your provider account, so it says nothing about your keys.

## Before you start

* A saved provider integration — see [Connect a provider](/codemash/cloud/code/integrations/providers.md).
* You need `code:read` on the integration.

## Steps

1. Open **Code → Integrations** and click the integration, here `Bookshop Azure`. Under the form is the test panel with **Run test after successful save** and **Test integration**.

2. Press **Test integration**. The panel shows **Test failed**, the time of the run and one step: **AuthenticationCheck — Failed**, *Provider 'AzureFunctions' is not wired up yet.*

## Result

The badge changes from **NOT TESTED** to **TEST FAILED**, and the result is kept with the integration (`lastIntegrationTestSucceeded: false`, `lastIntegrationTestErrors` in the API answer). Saving with **Run test after successful save** ticked runs the same test after each save.
