# Set as default

Make a Code provider integration the default — the action is accepted, but the default is not kept.

**Where:** Code → Integrations → an integration → **Actions** → **Set as default** · `/projects/<project>/code/integrations/<integrationId>/edit`

Cloud offers **Set as default** and the server answers success, but the default is not stored: the integration gets no **DEFAULT** badge, the **Default** column stays empty and the answer of Get Code Integrations has no `defaultIntegrationId`. The yellow box *No Default Set For Active Integrations* stays. Nothing in Norbix uses a default Code integration yet, because no provider can run a function.

## Before you start

* At least one enabled provider integration — see [Connect a provider](/codemash/cloud/code/integrations/providers.md).
* You need `code:manage` on the integration.

## Steps

1. Open the integration, here `Bookshop Azure`, and open **Actions**. The first item is **Set as default**.

2. Press **Set as default**. The page stays as it was — no **DEFAULT** badge appears.

## Result

The list still shows no default and the yellow box **No Default Set For Active Integrations**.

## Change or remove it later
