# Delete a function

Deleting your own function — Cloud has no screen for it.

**Where:** Code → Functions → a function → **Delete function…** (no screen) · `/projects/<project>/code/functions`

Cloud has no screen for this yet. The old **Edit Function** screen had **Delete function…** in its actions menu, but that screen is not drawn any more and the server has no standalone functions to delete. Delete a [marketplace function](/codemash/cloud/code/marketplace/function.md#change-or-remove-it-later) instead.

## Before you start

* There is nothing to delete: the [Functions list](/codemash/cloud/code/functions.md) is always empty.

## Steps

1. Open **Code → Functions**. The table has no rows, so no row offers a delete action.

## Result

Nothing changes.

## Change or remove it later

* A marketplace function is deleted from its edit screen: **Actions → Delete** — see [Add and call a marketplace function](/codemash/cloud/code/marketplace/function.md#change-or-remove-it-later).

## Do it from code

There is no endpoint for standalone functions. A marketplace function is deleted by its connection and function ids:
