# Set Sms Integration As Default

Make an SMS integration the default.

The **SMS** channel delivers text messages — templates, campaigns, and provider integrations — for OTPs, alerts, and bulk sends.

This endpoint makes one SMS integration the default for the current environment. The portal then picks it for you on new campaigns, trigger actions and the template Test panel. A campaign or trigger action must still name its integration (`integrationId`), so changing the default does not move existing campaigns or triggers to another integration.
