# Save Sms Integration

Save an SMS integration.

The **SMS** channel delivers text messages — templates, campaigns, and provider integrations — for OTPs, alerts, and bulk sends.

This endpoint creates an SMS integration for one provider and returns its id. The `integration.provider` field (`Twilio`, `Vonage`, `Plivo`, `Telnyx`, `Bird`, `Telesign`, `Sinch` or `Fake`) picks which fields the body carries; send `integration.integrationId` to update an existing integration instead. Today only `Twilio` (and the `Fake` sandbox) can send: the other six save fine, but every send and test through them is refused with `CM-ERRORS-SMS-005`. The integration's sender (phone number or sender ID) is the sender of every SMS sent through it.

{% endopenapi %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Good to know.** `integrationName` is required for a real provider — a save without it is refused with `CM-ERRORS-PROPERTY-001`; the Fake ignores it and is always named `Test Me` (S11; the request block above shows the field as optional after the Hub spec is re-uploaded). `isEnabled` defaults to `false` — send `true`, as the portal does. Every secret must be sent on every save, an update included (`CM-ERRORS-SECRETS-001`). Only one Fake per project and environment (`CM-ERRORS-INTEGRATIONS-026`).
{% endhint %}

Manage this visually in Cloud — see [SMS → Integrations](/codemash/cloud/sms/integrations.md).

## Use it from code

Every Norbix SDK exposes this endpoint as a method — see [Save Sms Integration](/codemash/sdks/notifications/sms/save-sms-integration.md) in the SDK reference, with examples in every language.
