# Get Database Schema List Settings

Reads a schema's records-list settings — which columns the Cloud list shows, their order and the default sort.

Reads the records-list display settings of one collection: the columns Cloud's records list shows, in order, and the default sort. `settings` is `null` when the schema was never configured — Cloud then shows every field.

`GET /{version}/database/schemas/{Id}/list-settings`

The answer's `settings` is `{ columns: [{ field }], defaultSort: { field, order } }` (`order` `1` ascending, `-1` descending).

Permission: `database:read` on the schema. AI tool: `get_database_schema_list_settings`.
