# Disable Database

Disable database service.

These endpoints turn the module on or off for your project.

This endpoint disables the module for your project.

This action is destructive or irreversible. Make sure you target the right item and confirm before running it.

**PUT since 2026-10-05 (was GET).** Turning a module on or off changes state, so it is a `PUT`. A `GET` on this path answers **405 Method Not Allowed** — there is no GET alias. Every Norbix SDK (and the CLI from 1.14.0) already sends `PUT`.
