# AI in your products

Give the users of your app AI that runs on Norbix — LLM providers, MCP servers, assistants, AI chat and AI triggers, and how they fit.

Your users want to ask your app questions in plain words — "what is the status of my order?", "change my email". Building that yourself means choosing a model, giving it safe access to the right data, keeping each user inside their own records, counting usage and saying when a plan runs out. Norbix gives you these pieces ready, inside the project you already have.

## How Norbix models it

```
end user ──▶ AI chat (API host) ──▶ assistant ──▶ LLM integration ──▶ the model
   │                                   │
   │                                   ├─▶ own:* tools (only this user's records, profile, preferences)
   │                                   └─▶ MCP integrations (web search, GitHub, Stripe, …)
   └─ AI plan quota ──▶ AI triggers (80 % / 100 % used → email, push, webhook, …)
```

| **LLM integration** (LLM = large language model) | Connects a model provider — OpenAI, Groq, Mistral, OpenRouter, Grok, … — with your own key. | [LLM providers](/codemash/ai/products/llm-providers.md) → Cloud → AI → [LLM integrations](/codemash/cloud/ai/llm.md) |
| **MCP integration** (MCP = Model Context Protocol, the standard way to give a model tools) | Gives the chat outside tools: web search, a GitHub repository, Stripe. | [MCP servers](/codemash/ai/products/mcp-servers.md) → Cloud → AI → [MCP integrations](/codemash/cloud/ai/mcp.md) |
| **Assistant**                                                                              | A name, a welcome message, a system prompt, the toolsets it may use (`own:records`, `own:profile`, `own:preferences`) and optionally its own model. | Project → Settings → [AI](/codemash/cloud/project/settings/ai.md)                                                    |
| **AI chat** | The chat your end users open in the Admin Portal or in your own app through the SDK. | [AI chat](/codemash/ai/products/ai-chat.md) |
| **Plans**                                                                                  | A monthly quota per user, by role.                                                                                                                  | Project → Settings → [AI](/codemash/cloud/project/settings/ai.md) → Plans                                            |
| **AI triggers** | React when the project's AI credits or a user's quota are almost or fully used. | [AI triggers](/codemash/ai/products/ai-triggers.md) (API only) |
| **Frameworks** | Use Norbix as the tool box of your own LangChain or LangGraph agent. | [Frameworks](/codemash/ai/products/frameworks.md) |

The chat always acts as **the signed-in end user**: its `own:*` tools are stamped with that user's id, so a question can never reach another user's data, whatever the prompt says.
